Management

  • President

    Richard is an avid hands-on DIYer. The experience of building his own homes has given him knowledge and expertise in the many components that go into such projects. He brings this experience, along with 35+ years in DIY sales and marketing and 25+ years of national account management into sales, marketing, packaging, product development and merchandising in several categories. Over the years, under his leadership, we have represented—and still do—some of the best national brands, including Moen Faucets, 3M, Closet Maid, Schlage Lock, Dap Sealants, Generac, Amerimax Home Products, MetalTech, Jig-A-Loo, Gator SandPaper, Technoform Industries, Shurtape, Spyder Tools and more.

  • Sales Team Leader and in-store Project Co-ordinator

    Stéphane has over seven years of experience managing sales teams in the hardware industry. He is sales, team management and marketing-oriented.  His strengths include store projects and conversions, project management, and he is a big believer of in-store staff PKs leading the way to increased sales.  He has previous experience as a financial planner, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration.

  • Vice President

    35+ years of sales management experience with major consumer packaged goods companies; Duracell Batteries, Tremco – RPM Retail Products, PPG Industries, Olympic Stains, Henkel, Reckitt Benckiser (Lysol, Zero, Wizard, Easy-Off, etc.). Robert joined the Davidson team in 2004.

  • Territory Manager - Central and Western Canada

    Bailey joined us in 2016. She manages the day-to-day operations in Ontario and Western Canada for our big box and dealer sales teams. Enthusiastic and energetic, Bailey has experience in B2B and B2C product sales. She also manages head office accounts such as Federated Coop, McMunn & Yates, Starbuilding, Princess Auto, Castle Building, Timbermart and many more. 

  • Director Central Canada

    Based in the GTA, Jason brings 20+ years of national account sales management, category advisory expertise, brand licensing and senior leadership experience in both public and private companies. Background in calling on hardware, home improvement, mass, drug and grocery exposure. National brands include Lite Ladders, Rubbermaid (licencee), Rack Sack, Maximum Trash Bags and private label programs at Walmart, Metro, Sobeys, Canadian Tire, Safeway and Rexall. 

  • Human Resources Manager

    Liette has over 30 years of experience in human resources, compliance, accounting, office administration and mergers and acquisitions. She has a wealth of training under her belt and works on our company's strategic vision and policies. Liette focuses on employee well-being, training and teamwork. She is responsible for talent acquisition, negotiation, change and conflict management.

  • Quebec Territory Manager

    Stéphane has extensive sales management experience in the retail electronics and boating industries. With 20+ years of experience managing sales teams, he is dedicated to achieving maximum merchandising and sales opportunities.

  • Financial Controller

    A CPA since 2016, Caroline joined the Davidson team in 2021. She has nine years of experience in a multidisciplinary accounting firm and has completed several mandates with private companies in the construction, retail and manufacturing sectors. She has been a member of the board of directors of a systemically important financial institution for over 10 years, which has enabled her to acquire expertise in business management.

National Account Managers

  • National Account Manager

    Pierre-Yves joined our team in 2019, previously he worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager for GSC Technologies, a North American manufacturer of plastic totes, kayaks and canoes. During his six-year tenure at GSC, he was directly responsible for the Lowe’s/Rona account and as marketing manager for the entire NA team, accompanied the sales team during all major reviews with Home Depot Canada/USA, Lowe’s Canada/USA, Costco North America, Home Hardware, Container Store and many others. His additional duties as marketing manager included complete P/L responsibilities, packaging, social media, raw costing and more Pierre-Yves holds a Bachelor of Business Administration.

  • National Account Manager

    Diane comes to us with more than 30 years of experience in retail and consumer packaged goods. She spent ten years on the purchasing side at Costco Canada, Fly and Canwel and then  14 years as National Account Manager for Northern International and Sterno Home selling to Costco Canada and International, Giant Tiger and other major accounts in Canada. Over the years, she has maintained quality high-level contacts at both accounts.

    Martin has over 35 years of experience in retail, particularly in hardware, including Assistant Store Manager at Rona, BMR Paint Category Buyer, Sales and Service Manager, and National Account Director at Sherwin Williams.  Martin joins our team in 2026 as National Accounts Manager.

  • National Account Manager

    National account manager with a solid 25+ years of experience in the home improvement industry, working with national accounts like Lowe’s, Rona, Réno-Dépôt, Spancan members, BMR, Kent Building Supplies, Walmart, representing companies like Tremco for 9½ years, Royal International Corp. for 15 years, Artika for Living for 3½ years and Colonial Elegance. Louise has extensive experience in multiple categories like plumbing, lighting, hand tools, storage, hand trucks, bedding and bathroom accessories, along with working closely with marketing to develop private brand categories at Rona and Réno-Dépôt.

  • National Account Manager

    Chris has over 25 years of consumer goods sales experience working with retail national accounts, as well as co-ops and dealer networks in the hardware and home improvement industry. Chris’s sales career has included Sherwin-Williams, Master Lock and SPG International (tool storage products). He is an account manager calling on national and dealer accounts in Toronto and the Ontario region.

  • Sales Representative

    Steve has been with us since 2018 after 20 years in management in the construction industry. He has been working with companies such as Sico, Para Paints and Richelieu. He is responsible for the independent dealer channel north of Trois-Rivières, including Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean and Côte Nord.

  • Regional Account Manager – Quebec

    Mathieu joined the team in 2018. He has over seven years of experience in sales and marketing, and he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.

    Benoît has many years of experience as a sales representative. He has worked for RDTS, Coke, Mondoux, Old El Passo and others.

    Travis comes with six years of experience in construction and tool products in the Maritime territory and calls on the retail as well as the rental markets. He has worked with Kent Building Materials, Home Hardware dealers, independents, United Rental, Cat Rental (Battlefield), CRS, etc.

  • Sales Representative, Northern Ontario

    Laurie joined Davidson in 2015. Along with his over 25-year sales career, he has worked for Imi Cornelius as national sales manager, managing accounts like Young Brands, Famous Players, Boston Pizza and Tim Hortons. Drawing on extensive hands-on experience with our products, his strength is situation-based selling. 

  • Sales & Merchandising Representative, Alberta

    Joyce joined Davidson Sales & Marketing in 2022. She came from the retail environment in luxury brand food. Her vibrant personality and eye for detail has been a gift to many of our customers. Joyce’s emphasis is on relationship-building to create synergy among customers and our principals.

  • Sales Representative, Southwestern Ontario

    Alison has a keen eye for merchandising and sales practices such as ensuring planogram compliance and accurate shelf tags. She has vast experience with keeping inventory levels properly maintained, ordering products and gaining incremental displays. Her professional, can-do, charismatic approach and extensive sales representative background is an asset to our team.

    Tracy’s background is in retail merchandising and fixture installation. She has a strong belief that when a product looks good, it sells more.

    Jeff possesses an extensive knowledge of entrepreneurship, physical product/business development, and marketing. He approaches projects with a contrarian attitude, aligning himself with people and businesses that compliment his efforts leading to key market successes.

    Jeff is responsible for the Southwest Ontario Niagara Falls / London / Windsor Area.

    Paul is a seasoned sales professional with over 20 years of experience in the building materials and construction products industry. He has a proven track record in territory management, technical sales, and strategic account development across Ontario. Paul’s expertise spans exterior building materials, with strong relationships built among distributors, contractors, and retail centers. Known for his results-driven approach, negotiation skills, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. Paul’s designated territory is the GTA and Central Ontario. 

Big Box Sales & In-store Service - quebec

  • Representative - Merchandiser

    As a merchandiser, Alexandra uses her expertise to optimize product presentations and boost sales, combining her cumulative sales, management and admin expertise in the equestrian and hardware sectors with her commercial management know-how.

    Christiane has solid management and retail experience, having worked as a team leader at Zellers and at Match. She has also acquired expertise in planography. Christiane currently excels as a merchandiser, using her skills to optimise product presentations and increase sales.

    Anthony comes to us with extensive experience in retail sales combined with in-depth knowledge of the business community.

    Anthony will be servicing the Montreal, Laval/North Shore region.

  • Technical Expert & Training Representative

    Dedicated Davidson trainer with over 25 years in the hardware industry and a strong background in power tools. Yann joined our team in 2011. He is a proud graduate with a university degree as a science major​.

Sales Support/Telemarketing/Admin

  • Executive Administrative Assistant to President and V.P.

    Raewyn has a strong administrative background with over 30 years of experience in various industries  and has a Certificate in Marketing from McGill University.  A small business owner herself for 12 years, she brings a wealth of experience and a solution oriented mindset to her varied day-to-day activities. 

  • Accounting Technician

    Melissa joined the Davidson team in 2019. She has 15 years of experience in the banking industry and has a strong customer service and administration background.

  • Customer Service Coordinator

    With more than 25 years of experience in service and customer service, France assists us with account management, dealer sales, CRM management and customer service and support. In 2015, France completed her college degree in office management and business English.
